Applications Open: 2025 ASC NSF Student Travel Award
The American Society for Composites (ASC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 NSF Student Travel Award to attend the 40th ASC Technical Conference in Dayton, Ohio, from October 6–8, 2025.
This initiative, generously funded by the National Science Foundation, supports travel for undergraduate and graduate students who are presenting authors or co-authors of a conference paper. Selected awardees will receive up to $1,000 in reimbursement for travel expenses and will participate in professional development and networking activities throughout the conference.
Deadline to apply: August 19, 2025
Notification of awardees: No later than August 26, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old as of October 6, 2025
- Be a presenting author or co-author of a paper at ASC 2025 in Dayton, OH
- Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a U.S.-based institution
- Participate fully in the ASC conference and the associated student development activities
- Postdoctoral scholars are not eligible
- U.S. citizenship is not required
